Samsung LN52B750 reviewYet Another LN52B750 Review

The Samsung LN52B750 52-inch LCD HDTV is the latest 7-Series from Samsung. HDTV The A650 last year that some of the most impressive we’ve seen, so that in case of new models of Samsung B750 series even more impressive. LN52B750 HDTV Samsung is the largest of the series with 52-inch Samsung B750 offers a wide range of style and functionality. It has the popular Samsung Touch of Color design and is available with either red or Charcoal Gray Designs. A Full HD / 1080p LCD panel for the highest HD format. LN52B750 Samsung’s LCD panel features a Full HD / 1080p HD resolution for the highest and has a very high dynamic contrast ratio 150,000:1 bright whites and deep blacks provide. The latest Auto Motion Plus 240 Hz technology also appear, which helps eliminate motion blur dramatically and vibrations moving fast panning scenes. Cnet reviewed the Samsung LN52B750 and gave him a big four out of five rating, but also won an award for its impressive energy-saving mode power saving features. They said not for the deep blacks, accurate color and image commendable consistency, along with technology Yahoo Widget impressive and network streaming. The good: Produces deep black levels, accurate color, and uniformity of image for a laudable LCD dejudder excellent quality, expanded functionality with Yahoo Widgets, networking, and streaming content to be integrated, fixed with four HDMI and one input PC. The bad: A bit expensive, colored to recognize the benefits of 240Hz hard dark blue areas, glossy screen can cause reflections in bright rooms, no S-video inputs. Conclusion: The Samsung LNB750 not beat the picture quality of the best series of plasma and LCD to LED, but for a conventional LCD display, is one of the best we’ve tested. Like this from Amazon at a good price, but I am sure it will be a little over a year continue to fall. This TV is spectacular! Absolutely stunning, jaw drop picture. I can not get enough of it. Excellent black, infinitely adjustable to your liking. When I get turned on for the first time I had come to The Office and I swear, my mouth remained open for several minutes as it seemed that Michael was in the same room with me! Many of the inputs and the characteristics of this quantity, Internet connectivity, DLNA Home Networking, beautifully steamed TOC is gray instead of red on the last 750 years. Very polished bezel, crystal neck stand the cones. The screen is bright, the reflections are not a problem for me because I tend to see in a dark room, but also open the curtains, I do not see me! AMP seems to work best in this series, I have also documented a Samsung 4071, has a small problem with AMP, even more than AVSForums. Just like everything else is perfect, hence the 4 stars instead of 5 The sound is bad. I mean, this should be up to a good stereo system, or at least a pair of powered computer speakers or such a quantity of hooks. This TV attracts dust like Nobodies business. Or that, or my house is very dirty. Front panel controls (which were rarely used in each case) is difficult to say where (they are below right). Yahoo Widgets, what kind of cool the first time you see they are, eh, not a problem. Perhaps there is no longer available, I’d be more excited. There is no printed manual, is on a USB drive, a so-called E-manual, and no, not Spanish! There are some uneven backlight when the screen is dark (no signal) are not sure if this topic seems to me, do not lead to any image quality, but keep in mind something. This is a TV 5 stars, but the sound is what is 1 drop. All other issues are not a big problem. Amazon delivery was good, no problems. All in all, I am very satisfied! Well, for a Blu-ray right!

should i buy LCD or Plasma?

Posted by | Posted in Article about LCD HDTV | Posted on 27-08-2009

In the face of everything else I have to say that this is a decision between two very different technologies. The processing and manipulation of images is treated in very different ways. This article will focus more on how the different experiences of consumers. So here are some important points that help you make your decision. . . SizeThe The conflict between LCD and plasma is fought in sizes 37-50 inches. But actually, the LCD display is often not beyond, 45 components, which simply means that for a wider dimension that only choose to have a plasma. In contrast, in small sizes (15-36 ins), LCD is the only option, since the plasma is produced in smaller sizes. The picture quality / contrast / saturation, plasma and LCD televisions are capable of exceptional picture quality of each hand. However, the plasma is more suitable for home theater. Plasma can be used for reproduction of blacks very deep: for photos, very little information, brightness, contrast and sharpness is far superior. In comparison, the LCD is difficult for blacks really deep get it (always) a small amount of light between the pixels. This does not mean that technology is not suitable for LCD TV screens, a lot of progress has been made in this area and have come to anticipate the devices with higher contrast and deep blacks with excellent quality. The situation of color is a very similar story, again, plasma is better suited to delve even more realistic colors due to its inherent structure, and to provide more vivid colors. LCD-even so have the upper hand when it comes to contrast with the images fascinating. Viewing Angle Extreeme and large plasma TVs have better viewing angle. It is true that the current management to get the LCD angle of 160

LCD Tv: the New Face of Indoor Entertainment

Posted by | Posted in Article about LCD HDTV | Posted on 27-08-2009

New innovations have radically changed the way people around the world perceive the concept of entertainment. Be it cinema or music system, mp3 players or television, people are constantly adopting new ways of entertainment, jettisoning the old ones. Technology changes always. You can`t stop the advancement in technology. There is some advancement in terms of technology in everyday things like cell phones, calculators, computer monitors, and televisions, too.

INDOOR LCDThe latest version of television is Liquid Crystal Display Television or LCD TV. Old model tube (CRT) TVs are large and bulky. They need a lot of space for placing it. During the early 2000`s LCD flat panels started ruling over the television market from the typical CRTs.

LCD TV is a flat screen television which needs less space for placing. They are slim, lighter, and hardly goes beyond 3. 5 inch in thickness. They have a very trendy look which draws attention of others. The technology has penetrated our everyday lives. But how does it work? Basically, a very large amount of tiny liquid crystals are held between two electrodes. When a charge is passed between the tiny liquid crystals they react to the change. This reaction emits light which creates an image that we can viewed on the screen of the television.

Usually LCD TVs are cheaper as compared to Plasma models. However, when it comes to large screen size, plasma TV is sold for better prices. If you compare with the CRT tube TVs, then the price is a little higher, no matter the screen size.

The screen lifespan of Plasma and LCD TVs should not be an important way to differentiate them. Plasma TV have a reported half-life of 30,000 to 60,000 hours. While the average tube (CRT) TV set has a half-life of around 25,000 hours. LCD TV can be installed on your own where as you have to depend on an expert to install a plasma TV. The best part of LCD TV is that it draws only about 60% of the power consumed by plasma displays. You are also protected from harmful electromagnetic waves while using it.

LCD TVs have certain minor drawbacks too, with restricted viewing angle and limited contrast ratio. They have graying effects on the screen which deteriorates the clarity of the image, mainly the color factor. The viewing angle of an LCD TV is up to 160 degrees, where as the viewing angle of plasma TV is up to 170 degrees.

The right LCD TV screen placement is a very important point to consider. Sitting the right distance from your TV set optimizes your viewing experience. Also for the viewing height, your eyes should level with the middle of the screen, since the LCD image picture will look its brightest as this level.

LCD TVs may often look better in `real-world` situations, as they reflect very little light, enabling them to keep levels in well-lit rooms. This way, LCD TVs will usually meet the brightness expectations of most customers.

Technology has brought many interesting products in recent years. One of them was the LCD TV. For those who love indoor entertainment, like watching TV, look no further. LCD TV will provide one of the best viewing experiences.

Excellent HD TV for a great price!

I've been shopping since before Thanksgiving in local outlets and researching sources like Consumer's Report and this Samsung 46" HDTV w/1080 and 120hz is the top rated unit. I ordered this through Amazon and it was shipped timely and flawlessly without any damage. The carrier delivered the unit and set it up in my living room-- took about 15 minutes. The HDTV itself is as advertised and thus far works perfectly with great screen definition, excellent audio and no problems to date. I can't say enough about the quality of the unit and the fantastic price that Amazon offered. No complaints!!
Beautiful picture, Clarity amazing!

Our new TV is a very special addition to our home. We can't get over how beautiful the picture is. Working with Amazon was a great experience too. Simple and quick...
excellent picture, beats my Sony Z series

having always been a Sony fan, my first HDTV was a Sony Z Series 1080p 240Hz 100k:1 contrast (a notch below Sony's top of the line XBR series), i took a chance to purchase this Samsung B series priced very competitively. The TV's picture quality, sharpness, color richness, smoothness, quality build etc ... outright beats my pricier Sony. I'm exceedingly pleased, highly recommending this set.

on a less upbeat note, CEVA the "white glove" carrier refused to deliver my TV on the day promised, and could only schedule a delivery 4 days later! I couldn't wait so I drove 45 miles to pick up the set. Amazon acknowledged the problem and issued me a 5% credit.
Excellent Customizable Picture Options,Picture as Good as LED

I bought this TV from Amazon in Feb. 2010. First let me tell everyone about the shipper. Amazon uses a third party Company named Pilot, in the Pittsburgh area. I had to contact them to even get a Delivery date, then they forgot about me. So I ended up getting the TV the next day, that was fine. The company however is not set-up for home deliveriers, they are a commerical Company of heavy operator's of goods and services. They ship things UPS and FEDEX won't. Ok, This Samsung LN46B630 is a great tv. I researched for about a month before I deceided to purchase this Model. You will need 2 people to put the base on properly, it's not as easy as eariler models. It is very sturdy though. It comes with a string, so if you are using the stand, you can anchor it to the wall. Peace of mind knowing it wont go anywhere, I did use this feature cause I have 2 small ones running around the house. Picture quality is top notch. It was set to vivid which I switched to standard along with several adjustments which improved the picture greatly. (I am using it as a monitor, which runs through my Denon AVR4310CI. It has the Anchor Bay Video processing chip which upconverts all signals. It does a great job converting our cable service, Comcast to 1080P. With the vast array of adjustments from the Receiver and the TV, The Picture Quality can Rival some LED HDTV's with ease. Also this is a 120HZ set but runs at 60HZ alot of the time,(You can select between 4 Auto Motion Plus 120HZ options, Off, Clear, Standard, Smooth, Custom & Demo.I have Mine Set to smooth.) When you click the info button, the top let corner tells you picture quality and HZ. I have not noticed much jitter at all, and we watch alot of sports as well as play alot of video games on the PS3, (Which looks like you can step into the picture and join in!) I can say that about cable TV as well, some programs just look to good. I've played Blu-ray's, DVD's and even VHS and all sources were very detailed. It has plenty of inputs 4 HDMI-CEC. Which means they will control your other devices. You select the input for PS3 it will turn it on for you, or shut it off, pretty cool feature. The screen is a matte black, which is alot better since we have a high light living room with lots of windows. On really black scenes, you noticed a little pixel junk. Which I only saw in the lower left corner. It didn't really bother us and is only noticable with a good eye. As far as the sound goes, I'm not sure as we have a HT set-up. So we don't use the audio from the TV-SET. Also this set has Internet capabilities. Samsung calls it info Link, which there is a one touch button on the remote for this feature. You get news, weather and sports. I gave this HDTV 5 Stars because of the great features and ease of use with the remote. As well as an Outstanding Picture Quality, and a Great Price.
Great TV

Review Date: February 23, 2010
Reviewer: T. Beaty, San Antonio, Texas
I recently purchased the Samsung LN46B630 and love the picture quality. This is the second Samsung LCD I have purchased in the last year with the first being a 52". The only downside to the 46" is that the volume control increments are actually too small meaning that it takes a little longer to adjust the volume (i.e. when commercials crank up the sound. The sound quality though is above average. Also, I orginally bought a 40" in lieu of the 46" but found it to be too small for the room I had it in. Amazon had no problem with the return and handled it quickly and efficiently. I had my replacement in a few days.

Plasma Tv Vs. Lcd Tv – Which is Better?

Posted by | Posted in Article about LCD HDTV | Posted on 26-08-2009

LCD vs Plasma

Plasma TV vs. LCD TV

You know you want to buy a flat-screen TV but you don’t know if a plasma TV or an LCD TV would be your best choice.
This article explains the differences between plasma versus LCD TVs, then shows you how to get the best price for a plasma or LCD TV.

Plasma TV
A plasma TV screen consists of millions of multi-colored gas-filled cells. When electricity passes through the cells they light up and produce a picture.
Plasma TV screens have a much higher resolution than tube TV screens. In fact, the picture is so clear it’s almost like watching a scene through a window.
Screen sizes range from 42″ to 65″ wide and are 3″ to 4″ thick.

LCD TV
LCD (light crystal display) TV screens are made up of a thin layer of liquid crystals sandwiched between two glass plates. When an electricity is sent through the crystals an array of tiny multi-colored pixels light up to create a picture.
LCD TV screens are thinner and lighter than plasma screens. They are the most screens for computers, and are quickly gaining popularity as TV screens.
LCD TV screens are anywhere from 1/4″ to 4″ thick and 2″ to 65″ wide.

Plasma vs. LCD Features
Picture Quality
When it comes to which type of TV screen is sharper and shows more detail, plasma TVs have a slight edge over LCD TVs, though LCD TVs are catching up.
Plasma TVs are also slightly better when it comes to viewing angle ? how far you can sit to one side of a TV screen before picture quality is affected.
Screen Life
Screen life is the number of hours a TV provides before the picture begins to fade. Plasma TVs have a screen life of about 30,000 to 60,00 hours, depending on the make and model, while LCD TV’s have a screen life of 60,000 hours or more.
Plasma TVs are also subject to “burn in. ” This occurs when a TV displays a still image long enough for a ghost of that image to be burned into the screen. LCD TVs do not have this problem.
HD TV
Both plasma and LCD TVs display HD (high definition) signals for a sharper, more three dimensional picture. LCD TVs, however, have a slightly higher resolution (more screen pixels) then plasma TVs.
Video Games
Plasma and LCD TVs are both great for video gaming, however because of plasma TV’s tendency toward screen burn in, an LCD TV is the better choice if you play a lot of video games.
Portability
LCD TVs are thinner and lighter than plasma TVs, making them easier to move and easier to mount on a wall.
Plasma vs LCD TV prices
When it comes to which type of TV gives you the most bang for the buck, it depends on what you’re looking for.
If you’re looking for a large-screen TV ? 42″ or larger ? plasma TVs are currently cheaper than than similar-sized LCD TVs. When I recently compared prices on 42″ TVs, the cheapest plasma TV was $999, while the cheapest LCD TV was $1,367.
When it comes to mid-size TVs, I couldn’t find plasma TVs smaller than 42. ” The cheapest 32″ LCD TV I found was $619, while the cheapest 27″ LCD TV was $550.
